Support Professional Services Consultant (Self Service) at Abnormal AI

Manages post-sales technical deployments for self-serve customers, guiding them through activation and troubleshooting deployment blockers to meet rapid time-to-value targets.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Role

Abnormal AI is looking for a Professional Services Consultant to join the Self-Serve Professional Services team. We’re looking for candidates based on the West Coast to best support the needs of this role and our customers. The Self-Serve team owns the post-sales technical deployment for our smaller, lower-touch accounts from our Mid-Market/Commercial book of business that move through implementation on a fast, largely asynchronous motion rather than a scheduled, high-touch consulting engagement. This role will carry a large, high-turnover portfolio of concurrent deployments and are expected to bring customers to full value in days, not weeks, against a 12-day time-to-value target. Drawing on your knowledge of enterprise mail flow and email security, you’ll guide customers through activation, troubleshoot the harder technical cases that come up, and keep dozens of accounts moving at once. The ideal candidate is energized by real speed and real scale, and thrives in an environment where things move fast and nothing stays still for long.

What you will do

  • Drive fast time-to-value at scale. Own a large, high-turnover portfolio of self-serve deployments and get each customer to an activated, value-realizing state quickly, consistently meeting the 12-day self-serve time-to-value target.
  • Run an efficient, largely asynchronous deployment motion. Manage go-live intake, activation, and follow-up primarily through structured, templated communication and self-service enablement (guides, Abnormal Academy, portal) rather than one-off scheduled calls, while also being able to pivot to occasional one-off calls that will not be as structured or scripted.
  • Monitor and triage deployment health daily. Sweep open deployments, classify them (not activated / partially deployed / ready to close), and prioritize the accounts that need attention today across a high-volume book.
  • Troubleshoot common deployment blockers. Use internal runbooks, and escalate non-standard technical or relationship issues to Senior PS Consultants, Support, or Engineering with clear context.
  • Guide customers to full value. Help customers activate every product they’ve purchased (Inbound Email Security (IES), Account Takeover Protection (ATO), AI Security Mailbox (AISM), Email Productivity, and other add-ons) across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and adopt best practices that get them the most from the platform.
  • Proactively manage risk. Spot blockers and coverage gaps early and escalate to keep deployments moving.
  • Work cross-functionally and transparently. Keep the account team aligned on status, risks, and next steps for every account you touch.
  • Raise the bar on quality and CSAT. Uphold Abnormal’s quality standards and help strengthen the Professional Services customer-satisfaction program.

Must Haves

  • Genuinely curious about a customer’s underlying needs (not just what they literally ask for), and able to prioritize clearly and communicate transparently when customer demands compete.
  • Skilled in deploying and managing SaaS products across a large portfolio of customer environments, spanning cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of networking basics, security protocols, and email security concepts (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to support customer configurations and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Strong technical analysis skills to diagnose and resolve complex deployment issues quickly, even with limited information; and including the ability to make complex technical steps clear and actionable for non-technical customers in writing.
  • Proven ability to manage a large, high-turnover volume of concurrent projects, prioritize ruthlessly, and consistently hit fast deadlines.
  • Experience using AI tools to templatize repeatable work and free up your judgment for the deployments that actually need it.
  • 2+ years in technical support or Professional Services consulting, delivering enterprise-grade, cybersecurity-related SaaS platforms in a high-growth environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-volume, digital, or tech-touch delivery model (as opposed to a purely high-touch consulting model).
  • Comfort working directly in Salesforce/CRM and customer-success platforms (e.g., Gainsight) to track and prioritize a deployment queue.
  • Knowledge of API use and integration processes to connect Abnormal with other tools in a customer’s tech stack.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

#LI-EM3

Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Base salary range:

$84,200—$121,000 USD

A note on AI in our process: Abnormal AI uses AI-assisted tools to help our recruiting team prepare for candidate interviews. We appreciate your interest in Lucidworks!

About the Role

As a Search Engineer on our Technical Support team, you’ll be a trusted technical partner to our customers, helping them get the most out of Lucidworks Fusion and resolving the issues that stand between them and a great search experience. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Engineering and Customer Success to run down product defects, performance issues, and feature requests, and you’ll help shape the product by surfacing what you’re hearing from the field.

This role rewards sharp problem-solving, careful attention to detail, and a genuine understanding of search technology. You’ll move comfortably between deeply technical conversations and plain-language explanations for non-technical stakeholders, and you’ll bring real empathy to every interaction, because behind every ticket is a person trying to get their job done.

This role provides primary support to our U.S. government customers, so it does come with a citizenship requirement below. It’s fully remote and will stay that way. We’re ideally looking for someone based on the West Coast or who is comfortable working hours aligned with the Pacific time zone.

  • Write clear, reusable knowledge base articles that help the broader customer base solve similar issues on their own

  • Spot opportunities to bring customers additional value through follow-on products and services

  • Relay high-value use cases and customer feedback to Product and Engineering so it shapes what we build next

  • Collaborate across teams to diagnose and resolve critical, high-stakes issues

  • Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays

What we’re looking for

  • U.S. citizenship, required due to government contracts

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Lucene/Solr or comparable search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, OpenSearch)

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing, level 2–3 technical support role

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science, preferred

  • Experience working in a technical support CRM (Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar)

  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication with customers over email and phone

  • Proficiency in Java, plus a scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby

  • Comfort on Unix/Linux systems: command-line navigation, file permissions, system logs, scripting, and basic networking

  • Working proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized deployments

Bonus points for:

  • Exposure to related open-source projects or other commercial search technologies

  • Experience in enterprise search, e-commerce, or business intelligence

  • Familiarity with machine learning, data science, or Gen AI concepts (embeddings, vector search, RAG)

  • Hands-on experience with a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Startup experience

Our Stack

  • Apache Lucene/Solr, ZooKeeper, Spark, Kafka, Ray, Helm

  • Java, Python, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Grafana

  • Zendesk, Jira

$88,000 - $121,000 a year

Lucidworks believes in the power of diversity and inclusion to help us do our best work. We are an Equal Opportunity employer and welcome talent across a full range of backgrounds, orientation, origin, and identity in an inclusive and non-discriminatory way. Applicants receive consideration based on the relevant talents, skills, and experiences they offer to our company.

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to learning more about you.

Support Solutions Engineer, Post-Sales (remote, US East Coast) at Checkly

Onboards new customers, trains engineering teams on synthetic monitoring tools, and provides ongoing technical support to ensure customer adoption and success.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

(Remote, US East Coast, Series B DevTools SaaS, synthetic monitoring)

The best developers don’t wait for a customer to tell them something’s broken.

They catch it first, in the pull request, in staging, or in the checkout flow at 3am, before a single user notices. That instinct is Checkly’s whole reason to exist. We give developers and their agents the tools to own reliability the way they own their code: end-to-end tests and synthetic monitoring defined as code, powered by OpenTelemetry and Playwright, versioned and reviewed like everything else they ship. From pull request to post-mortem, in one place.

Thousands of them, from modern AI companies like Mistral and resolve.ai to large engineering orgs like LinkedIn, Citi, and 1Password, build with us. In 2024 we raised $20M in Series B funding from Balderton, CRV and Accel.

Here’s the thing about 2026: AI agents and coding assistants are shipping more software, faster, than any team could review by hand, and more of it is breaking in ways nobody has seen before. LLM-backed features fail probabilistically. Agents take actions no runbook anticipated. “Is my app healthy?” is becoming an unanswerable question for a whole generation of AI-native software.

That’s where you come in. This role starts where the sale ends. You will onboard new customers, train their engineering teams, and stay close to those accounts as their use of Checkly grows. You are the technical counterpart in the account, and you run your own customer meetings.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to make sure customers get real value out of Checkly after they sign.

  • You will learn Checkly and the monitoring space deeply, then help customers solve real reliability problems.

  • You will own technical onboarding for new accounts: implementation, configuration, and getting their first monitoring into production.

  • You will run workshops and trainings for customer engineering teams.

  • You will be the technical counterpart in existing accounts, supporting adoption, troubleshooting, and growth alongside the sales team.

  • You will run your own customer meetings, from technical deep dives to account check-ins.

  • You will contribute to technical documentation and internal playbooks as you learn what works.

  • You will speak with customers directly and share your learnings with Product Engineering and Marketing.

What you should have

  • Around 2 years of experience in a post-sales technical role: customer onboarding, workshops and trainings, and helping accounts grow. Solutions engineering, professional services, customer success engineering, technical account management, or a similar path all work.

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, or automated testing.

  • Strong technical skills that allow you to read, write, and debug code (Javascript/Node.js preferred).

  • Ability to use AI tools to accelerate customer-facing work: researching a customer’s stack, generating tailored example code, building proof-of-concept repos, drafting technical responses. We build with Claude Code, Codex, and similar tools.

  • Genuine interest in working directly with customers. You enjoy talking to people, running workshops and demos, driving a meeting yourself, and explaining technical concepts clearly.

  • Excellent spoken and written English skills

  • Ability to be autonomous and self-motivated in an async-work environment, while you also enjoy getting to know your colleagues and helping others.

  • Based on the US East Coast, in Eastern Time (ET).

  • Able to travel occasionally to customers.

  • Startup experience is helpful, but not required.

Why us?

  • Transparent salary (more info below)

  • Become part of a fast-growing, and international team where your work matters. Your impact won’t get lost in layers of bureaucracy.

  • Stock options

  • Flexible paid vacation

  • Paid sick leave & up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave

  • US: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, long- and short-term disability, life insurance, 401(K) and more

  • Annual company on-site

Find out more here.

What we pay

Fair, competitive, and transparent pay is very important for us. Therefore we work with a standardized salary calculator that includes several factors such as seniority level as well as location.

For this role, there’s a 70% base salary - 30% commission split. The range is

  • $107k-$155k OTE for someone in the US.

  • $134k-$185k OTE for someone in US Tier 1 locations like NYC, Boston.

Apply

If this sounds interesting, please apply! Studies by several different sources have shown that on average men will apply for a job if they meet 60% of the application requirements. Women, non-binary people and POC will seek to match a much higher percentage of requirements before applying. If you’re not sure you’re the right fit, apply anyway and let us know what you bring to the table. We’d love to hear from you!

We’re all about being transparent and setting clear expectations. That’s why we’ve put together our hiring playbook and open-sourced our employee handbook. There you’ll find a sneak peek of who we are, how we work and what you can expect in our hiring process.

Support ITI Digital: SaaS Client Success Manager

Manages client relationships, conducts onboarding, monitors product adoption, and leads renewals for SaaS platform customers while supervising a small team.

Mid Posted 3 days ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: US-Florida
URL: https://iti-digital.com/

Role Overview

ITI Digital is seeking a Client Success Manager to serve as the primary relationship manager for a diverse portfolio of clients across our DXP platform and managed destination websites. This portfolio includes Destination Management Organizations (DMOs), regional tourism boards, Chambers of Commerce, parks & recreation departments, government agencies, and economic development organizations. A background working with or for these types of organizations is central to this role.

This is an active, day-to-day account management position. The Client Success Manager personally conducts onboarding calls, manages ongoing client engagements, monitors product adoption, and leads the renewal process. The role owns a defined core book of accounts directly and provides day-to-day direction to a small team of Client Success Specialists across the team's combined account portfolio. In addition to direct account responsibilities, this role contributes to process refinement and serves as an internal representative of client needs in product and strategy discussions. This is a hands-on, collaborative role rather than a removed management position.

Preferred Background

The ideal candidate brings direct familiarity with the organizations ITI Digital serves, along with an understanding of the digital tools that support them. Relevant experience may include one or more of the following:

  • Experience within a Destination Management or Marketing Organization (DMO), government agency, or economic development organization in a marketing, digital, or partnership capacity

  • Experience selling marketing services, digital platforms, or SaaS solutions to destinations, tourism boards, parks & recreation departments, government agencies, or economic development organizations from an agency or vendor perspective

  • Familiarity with co-op programs, visitor guide campaigns, itinerary tools, virtual visitor centers, or digital engagement platforms used by public-sector or destination marketing organizations

  • An understanding of the operational environment of public-sector and quasi-public organizations, including board reporting cycles, grant-funded budgets, fiscal year planning, and multi-stakeholder decision-making processes

  • A genuine understanding of how these organizations operate — and the ability to translate that understanding into thoughtful, consultative account management — will be a distinguishing quality in this role

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales-to-CS Handoff & CRM Stewardship

This area of responsibility focuses on ensuring a smooth transition from Sales and maintaining accurate data across client management systems.

  • Maintain CRM company and deal records up-to-date with client information; flag gaps and align with Sales as needed

  • Manage the client management platform configuration, including lifecycle stages, health scores, and onboarding playbooks

  • Lead periodic reviews of the client management platform database to ensure accuracy, clean segmentation, and up-to-date client records

  • Serve as the primary CS point of contact for platform questions, configuration updates, and vendor best practices

2. New Client Onboarding Ownership

The Client Success Manager is responsible for guiding new clients through a structured, milestone-driven onboarding process across our DXP platform and managed destination websites.

  • Conduct welcome calls and kickoff meetings, drawing on destination industry experience to establish meaningful rapport with clients

  • Clarify package scope, delivery timelines, and client-side resource commitments in accessible, straightforward terms

  • Coordinate with Implementation and Technical Support specialists to track milestone completion; escalate blockers proactively

  • Provide product demonstrations tailored to client use cases, connecting features to real workflows relevant to the client's organization type

  • Deliver a formal end-of-onboarding notification and satisfaction survey; document lessons learned for playbook improvement

3. Subscription Engagement & Product Adoption Strategy & Support

This area of responsibility centers on developing and sustaining strong client relationships throughout the subscription period, with a focus on long-term engagement and product adoption.

  • Maintain direct ownership of an assigned core book spanning DMOs, government agencies, Parks & Recreation departments, and economic development organizations across their full subscription terms

  • Conduct regular check-in cadences calibrated to client tier and account health

  • Apply relevant industry knowledge to connect product features to client outcomes, including visitor center engagement metrics, grant reporting requirements, economic development KPIs, and co-op partner ROI

  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and hand off to the Sales team for follow-through

  • Proactively identify accounts showing signs of declining usage or key contact changes, and respond with appropriate education or outreach

  • Share relevant case studies, benchmark data, and best practices from across the ITI Digital client base to support adoption

  • Serve as an internal advocate for clients during product development discussions, translating sector-specific feedback into actionable product input

4. Client Health Monitoring & Risk Management

The Client Success Manager is expected to maintain a consistent, informed view of account health, identifying and addressing risks before they affect client satisfaction or retention.

  • Maintain health scores in the client management platform using usage data, survey results, support ticket patterns, and relationship signals

  • Conduct structured health-check conversations at defined intervals, especially during leadership transitions at client organizations

  • Deploy satisfaction survey campaigns at key subscription milestones; analyze results and close the feedback loop with clients

  • Classify at-risk accounts on early indicators — passive satisfaction, declining usage, key contact changes, budget or procurement signals, and client unresponsiveness — not solely on expressed dissatisfaction, and maintain a documented save plan for each

  • Log client-reported technical issues and escalate for triage and engineering assignment

  • Escalate at-risk accounts to leadership with a clear situation summary, documented save plan, and recommended course of action well ahead of the renewal date

 5. Renewal Management

Renewal management is a primary accountability of the Client Success Manager. This role carries direct responsibility for retained revenue across the assigned portfolio.

  • Maintain a current, accurate renewal pipeline with visibility into upcoming contract end dates

  • Initiate renewal conversations well in advance of contract end; identify and address concerns early to avoid late-stage risk

  • Apply approved concession parameters for renewal negotiations; escalate any offer outside those boundaries prior to client communication

  • Prepare renewal contracts (with admin support); track signature status and follow up as needed

  • Escalate contract, pricing, or invoicing concerns to leadership with full account context and a recommended course of action

6. Team Collaboration, Coaching & Continuous Improvement

The Client Success Manager works closely with a small team of Client Success Specialists, providing day-to-day guidance, sharing best practices, and helping to ensure consistent quality across the team's client interactions.

  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to Client Success Specialists, including guidance on client communication, issue resolution, and account management best practices

  • Serve as a resource for the Specialists when navigating complex client situations, escalations, or unfamiliar account types

  • Partner with Implementation, Technical Support, and relevant internal teams to resolve client issues that fall outside standard support workflows

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of onboarding and adoption playbooks, drawing on direct client experience across the full portfolio

  • Contribute relevant sector knowledge to internal conversations regarding product roadmap, marketing, and sales positioning

  • Uphold consistent standards in client communication, documentation, and CRM data management, and support the Specialists in doing the same

Ideal Candidate Profile

The following characteristics describe the professional qualities ITI Digital is seeking in this role:

  • Dependable — consistently reliable in following through on commitments to clients and colleagues

  • Collaborative — willing to share knowledge and provide informal guidance to colleagues in a team-oriented environment

  • Consultative — approaches client relationships with careful listening and thoughtful problem-solving

  • Sector-fluent — familiar with the operational and planning cycles of DMOs, government agencies, and economic development organizations, including board governance, grant budgets, and public accountability structures

  • Tech-curious — interested in SaaS and digital platforms, with a willingness to develop fluency in new tools

  • Detail-oriented — attentive to the accuracy and thoroughness required in CRM management, milestone tracking, and contract administration

  • Adaptable — comfortable navigating shifting priorities in a growing organization

  • Autonomous — able to exercise sound independent judgment while knowing when to involve leadership

  • Composed under pressure — maintains professionalism and perspective in a fast-paced, evolving environment
